🌍 Our Work
We believe symbols like the Earth Flag are most powerful when backed by real action.
Our work supports global initiatives that advance Peace, Justice, and Care of the Earth, inspired by the original Earth Day vision.
Led by Katie McConnell—marine biologist, National Geographic Explorer, big wave surfer, and granddaughter of Earth Flag and Earth Day founder John McConnell—we actively support and contribute to projects that focus on ocean health, climate resilience, environmental justice, and Indigenous knowledge systems, including:
-
Disaster Response & Marine Conservation via YachtAid Global
Connecting private resources to humanitarian aid, marine conservation, and disaster relief around the world.
-
Scientific Exploration & Public Engagement
Leading educational talks and conservation storytelling through National Geographic expeditions and public outreach events.
-
Future Vision
We aim to provide fiscal sponsorship for aligned grassroots initiatives, and author a book updating John McConnell’s original vision, connecting today’s challenges to the message of the Earth Flag.
Every Earth Flag flown helps fund and amplify this work.
